WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Promotion: We champion water security and sustainable use by focusing on water resource management; ensuring communities have reliable access to clean water in a healthy environment. This includes improving access to safe water, sanitation infrastructure, and hygiene promotion in both rural and urban deprived communities.
Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS): We tackle open defecation through behavior change campaigns, community mobilization, and the use of local leadership and resources.
Protecting Biodiversity: We promote home gardening with plastic, wooden, metal containers, and coconut husks to boost food security and improve air quality. Our efforts also include cleaning up solid waste from lagoons and water bodies, preserving habitats, restoring mangroves, and conserving wetlands. Additionally, we increase access to clean solar energy to lower carbon emissions and help build climate-resilient communities by reducing the overreliance on fossil fuels.
Climate Change & Resilience Building: We support flood-prone and coastal communities with preparedness programs, promoting livelihood diversification, and strengthening adaptive strategies against climate impacts for present and future generations.
Waste and Environmental Management: We promote behavioral change through education on sustainable practices, source segregation of waste (including electronic waste), pollution prevention, and enhancement of waste collection infrastructure.
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Promotion: We champion water security and sustainable use by promoting responsible water resource management and ensuring communities have reliable access to clean water in a healthy environment. Our WASH initiatives improve access to safe water, sanitation infrastructure, and hygiene education in both rural and underserved urban communities.
Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem Restoration: We protect and restore the environment through initiatives such as home gardening with recycled materials and coconut husks, waste cleanup from lagoons and wetlands, mangrove restoration, and habitat conservation. We also promote solar energy adoption to reduce carbon emissions, support climate-resilient communities, and enhance food security.
Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Building: We strengthen the resilience of flood-prone and coastal communities through preparedness training, livelihood diversification, and climate adaptation programs. Our goal is to build sustainable communities that thrive amid the challenges of a changing climate.
Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS): We combat open defecation and poor sanitation through mobilization, behaviour change campaigns, and local leadership engagement. By empowering communities to take ownership of their sanitation needs, we foster cleaner, healthier, and more dignified living environments.
Waste and Environmental Management: We advance sustainable environmental practices through public education, source segregation (including e-waste), pollution prevention, and waste collection improvements. Our efforts encourage behavioural change and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
